For nature lovers, the Alimini Lakes are a short 10-minute drive away, and sun worshippers will want to head to the popular Baia dei Turchi (a 10-minute drive).

The property is arranged across two rooms and benefits from plenty of outdoor space, including a shared garden and a shady private terrace ideal for alfresco dining and evening aperitifs.

Inside, the open-plan living space incorporates a small kitchen and is furnished with a double sofa bed that can be divided into two single beds, a flat-screen TV and a dining table. The kitchen is equipped with a Mokka coffee machine, a cooker hob and a fridge freezer.

Location

The property is located in the countryside of Frassanito, to the north of the city of Otranto (a 15-minute drive), close to some of the most beautiful beaches in Italy and the incredible conservation area of the Alimini Lakes (a 10-minute drive).

Whether you're interested in birdwatching, swimming, or nature walks, the Alimini Lakes (Alimini Grande & Piccolo) provide a memorable experience for nature lovers with a unique blend of freshwater and saline environments. There are various car parks in the pine forests surrounding the lakes.

The crystal-clear waters of Baia dei Turchi (Bay of Turks), Spiaggia della Punticeddha (5 minutes), Baia dei Turchi (12 minutes), Faraglioni di Sant’Andrea bathing rocks (5 minutes) and Alimini Beach (a 10-minute drive) are situated to the east of the lakes. To reach the beaches and the main lidos, you must cross the pine forest. Visitors can leave their car in one of the car parks on the coast road and catch one of the free trains or shuttles to the beach.

In Oranto (a 15-minute drive), visitors can enjoy the charming old town, medieval castle and Byzantine-era cathedral. The ideal choice for a day trip, the city also enjoys several beaches, including the central Spiaggia dei Gradoni and Spiaggia della Riviera degli Haethey. The beautiful Baroque city of Lecce, known as the "Florence of the South", is a 35-minute drive. There are several restaurants and a grocery store within a 5-minute drive.
