Tucked away in the heart of the town of Scicli, it is a unique retreat.

The apartment is laid out over 2 floors, connected by an open spiral staircase. The vaulted diner/kitchenette includes a café-style table and chairs, with an induction hob, coffee machine, kettle and fridge.

Sleeping

Bedroom 1: The airy master bedroom is furnished with a double bed, flat-screen TV, an armchair, coffee table and a wardrobe. Glass doors open onto a private courtyard terrace. Here, guests can enjoy the panoramic views with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Bedroom 2: The cosy second bedroom is downstairs. It has 2 single beds and a flat-screen TV.

Location In southern Sicily, the town of Scicli is one of the island’s most beautiful cities. It is packed with Baroque architecture, excellent restaurants and cafés where visitors can soak up the atmosphere. Visitors can experience authentic Sicilian life at Scicli’s weekly market, which takes place on Tuesday mornings in Via Saffi.

The property is just 15 minutes from the coast. The medieval fishing village of Donnalucata is known for its wide, sandy beaches and sleepy atmosphere. It is home to several fine restaurants where you can sample the freshest local fish.

Catania’s International Airport is a 1 hour 30-minute drive.
