From Via Selvalunga it's around a 10-minute walk to a supermarket and restaurants, and roughly 10–15 minutes down into Stresa's historic centre, with the lakefront and boat jetties a few minutes beyond. From there, boats reach the Borromean Islands in minutes: Isola Bella and its baroque Palazzo Borromeo are about a 10-minute crossing, with Isola Madre's botanical gardens and the fishing village of Isola dei Pescatori on the same route. Villa Pallavicino, with its landscaped park, deer, llamas and flamingos, is a 20-minute walk from the apartment. Mount Mottarone, with 360° views over seven lakes and the Alps and the Alpyland coaster at the summit, is reachable by road. Milan Malpensa Airport is a 50-minute drive away (approximately 53 km), with Stresa's own train station a short walk from the apartment for onward connections.
