Nestled in the hills between Siena (a 35-minute drive) and Florence (a 1-hour drive), the property provides easy access to many of Tuscany's historic towns and wineries of the wider Chianti region.

The apartment is situated on the 1st floor and is one of 4 apartments arranged in a medieval 3-storey townhouse just outside the village of Pian dell'Olmino. Outside guests can enjoy the use of a shared panoramic terrace that's furnished with a table, chairs, and an umbrella; the perfect setting for a slow breakfast, an evening aperitivo, or a quiet night under the stars. There's also a shared swimming pool with countryside views, a BBQ and a garden that's ideal for reading, sunbathing, or unwinding.

The property is accessed via a traditional stone staircase and its characterful, air-conditioned interior is carefully furnished in rustic Tuscan style with many original features, including a cool terracotta-tiled floor, rustic wood-beamed ceiling and a small iron-and-glass door that opens onto the original stone cellar. It feels like stepping into a different era, with all the comforts of today.

Guests can relax in the cosy living room that's furnished with a sofa bed and a flat-screen TV. In the kitchen, an ancient stone fireplace turns every meal into something a little more special. This space overlooks the pool and also enjoys direct access to the private terrace, and is fitted with a dining table, a Moka coffee machine, a Cooker Hob and a fridge freezer. This space.

Outside, there's also a laundry room with shared washing machines (near the pool).

Please note that for larger groups, the property connects to Melograno (ID 13923) through a private internal door, to create a two-apartment solution for families or groups of up to 8.

Visitors can enjoy wine tasting, olive oil farms, scenic walks, cycling routes, and authentic Tuscan cuisine in the surrounding countryside. The closest winery is just a 5-minute drive away, with many more within a 10-15 minute drive from the accommodation. Nature lovers will enjoy the forested trails of Parco Fluviale Alta Val D'Elsa, which follow a stretch of river renowned for its turquoise colour and picturesque swimming spots.
