The town is ideally located for exploring Lecce (a 25-minute drive), many of the region's popular beaches, Otranto (a 20-minute drive) and renowned wine and olive oil trails. The pristine beaches of Spiaggia Alimini and Baia dei Turchi are both a 20-minute drive.

History lovers will enjoy popular sites like the Castle of Monti (a 15-minute drive) and the Aragonese Castle of Otranto (a 20-minute drive). Other popular excursions include a visit to the beautiful Cave of Poetry and La Cutura Botanical Garden, an unmissable site that features rare flora and fauna (both a 25-minute drive).
