Quietly situated on the 1st floor of a well-maintained building, this light-filled studio is centrally located and provides a comfortable retreat away from the masses. With excellent facilities for skiing and snowboarding and opportunities for hiking or biking through picturesque forests and meadows in the summer.

Guests will find a comfortable open-plan living area that features a sofa bed, a digital flat-screen TV and a dining table. This space also incorporates a small kitchen that's equipped with a coffee machine, an induction hob, a microwave and a fridge.

Sleeping There is a double sofa bed in the living room and a wardrobe.

Bathrooms Bathroom 1: The bathroom is fitted with a shower, a bidet, a washbasin and a WC.

Location

The apartment is situated close to the centre of the alpine resort of Sestriere, where the 2006 Winter Olympics were held. The town enjoys easy access to the mountains and excellent facilities for skiing and snowboarding, with well-maintained slopes and lifts. The resort suits skiers and snowboarders of all levels and guests can ski in and out directly from the apartment. There are also opportunities for cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing.

In the summer, visitors can go hiking through the forests and alpine meadows. There are also numerous mountain biking tracks for all levels, as well as tennis, golf (Sestriere Golf Club is a 10-minute walk), and swimming.

Visitors will also find many restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets, all within walking distance (including a Pizza restaurant right below). For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities; the closest is a 2-minute walk away.

Turin airport is a 1-hour and 30-minute drive from the apartment.
