Quietly situated on the 1st floor of a well-maintained building, the property provides a comfortable year-round retreat with skiing and snowboarding opportunities in the winter and the chance to hike or bike through the surrounding forests and meadows in the summer.

Guests will find a cosy open-plan living area that's furnished with a comfortable sofa bed, bunk beds, a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a dining table. This space also incorporates a small kitchen that's equipped with a coffee machine, an induction hob, a microwave and a fridge.

Location

The apartment is situated in the centre of the pretty alpine resort of Grange Sises, just a 5-minute drive from the larger resort of Sestriere. There is very little traffic, making it an ideal place for families with children. Grange Sises hosts many events throughout the year, from dances to concerts and group mountain bike rides.

Nearby Sestriere, home of the 2006 Winter Olympics, enjoys easy access to the mountains and excellent facilities for skiing and snowboarding, with well-maintained slopes and lifts. The resort suits skiers and snowboarders of all levels and guests can ski in and out directly from the apartment. There are also opportunities for cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing.

In the summer, visitors can go hiking through the forests and alpine meadows. There are also numerous mountain biking tracks for all levels, as well as tennis, golf (Sestriere Golf Club is a 5-minute drive), and swimming.

Visitors will find several restaurants within walking distance, and a bigger selection of restaurants and bars in Sestriere to suit all tastes and budgets. For self-catering, Sestriere also has a number of supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities.

Turin airport is a 1-hour and 30-minute drive from the apartment.
