The villa sits in a quiet pocket of the Francavilla Fontana countryside, with the town itself close by for stocking up on groceries and everyday supplies. A local water park is just a 10-minute walk or a 3-minute drive away, easy for an afternoon with children, while the whitewashed hilltop town of Ostuni and the beaches and protected coastline of the Torre Guaceto nature reserve are both 30 to 45 minutes away. The Primitivo di Manduria wine country is roughly half an hour's drive, and the Baroque city of Lecce, the trulli of Alberobello and the cliffside town of Polignano a Mare are all around an hour away, with the cave city of Matera and the seaside town of Gallipoli reachable in about an hour and a half.
