On the 1st floor (with lift), in a family-friendly residence, this sunny apartment makes a great holiday choice for friends or family to enjoy the beautiful alpine countryside, at any time of year.

The apartment sleeps 4 people and has everything guests might need during their stay. Two sets of French windows in the living room let in the sunlight and lead out onto a large balcony with a table and chairs. Here, guests can dine al fresco, looking out over the mountains and forests. In the main living area, there is a carved wooden sofa, a stylish armchair, a coffee table and a flat-screen TV. Across the room, the dining area has a table for 4 people. The neat, open-plan kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a Nespresso coffee machine.

Additionally, in the building, guests can enjoy total relaxation with shared amenities that include an indoor shared swimming pool.

Bedroom: The bright bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe. Extra: The sofa in the sitting room converts into a single bed with a second, pull-out, single bed.

Location

The village of Vallorcine is surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery, and the nearby slopes are suitable for skiers of all levels. The apartment is a short walk from the ski lifts and the ski slopes. For a gentler alternative, there are 10km of cross-country skiing trails, which will suit beginners and experts alike.

During the summer months, the valley is full of fun activities: stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, climbing, tennis, golf and horse riding. For the more adventurous, there are paragliding centres close by. Children and adults will enjoy the trek through the forest to the Berard waterfall or the Grotte A Farinet cave.

All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep, as Vallorcine railway station is just a 2-minute walk from the residence.

The Swiss border is a four-minute drive from the village, and a minute beyond that is the Parc Vallée du Trient, with its breathtaking views and treks. The famous Montreux Jazz Festival, on the shores of Lake Geneva, takes place in early July and is just 1 hour away.

Vallorcine has several restaurants and cafés which cater to various ages and budgets. For self-catering, there is a weekly market (every Sunday morning) in Argentière (a 10-minute drive). Geneva Airport is a 1-hour 30-minute drive away.
