An airy, 1st-floor apartment in a smart, yet family-friendly, residence, set in a spectacular mountain landscape. This is the ideal base for an adventure-packed holiday at any time of year.

The apartment sleeps 4 people, and has been carefully equipped with everything guests might need during their stay. The living area has a sofa, stylish armchair, coffee table and flatscreen TV, with French windows opening onto a sunny balcony. The al fresco table and chairs are ideal for an aperitif. The dining area has a table for 6 people and is next to the open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with an induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, Nespresso and coffee machines.

Additionally, in the building, guests can enjoy total relaxation with shared amenities that include an indoor swimming pool.

Sleeping

The charming bedroom has a carved wooden double bed and a flat-screen TV. Extra: The sofa in the sitting room converts into a comfortable single bed, with a second, pull-out single bed.

A classic, tiled bathroom with a full bath and shower, basin and W.C.

Location

The village of Vallorcine is surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery, and the nearby slopes are suitable for skiers of all levels. The apartment is a short walk from the ski lifts and the ski slopes. For a gentler alternative, there are 10km of cross-country skiing trails, which will suit beginners and experts alike.

During the summer months, the valley is full of fun activities: stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, climbing, tennis, golf and horse riding. For the more adventurous, there are paragliding centres close by. Children and adults will enjoy the trek through the forest to the Berard waterfall or the Grotte A Farinet cave. All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep, as Vallorcine railway station is just a 2-minute walk from the residence.

The Swiss border is a four-minute drive from the village, and a minute beyond that is the Parc Vallée du Trient, with its breathtaking views and treks. The famous Montreux Jazz Festival, on the shores of Lake Geneva, takes place in early July and is just 1 hour away. Vallorcine has several restaurants and cafés which cater to various ages and budgets. For self-catering, there is a weekly market (every Sunday morning) in Argentière (a 10-minute drive). Geneva Airport is a 1-hour 30-minute drive away.
