Perched on a lush hillside, under the glorious Tuscan sun, this beautiful holiday villa near Florence is set to provide the most authentic and serene vacation. From diving into the large private swimming pool to enjoying the beautiful panoramas under the shaded gazebos and dining alfresco with BBQ, everything at this peaceful oasis contributes to an ultimate holiday experience. And to add to the pleasures of holidaying in the countryside, this 4-hectare property has extremely well-kept private gardens sprinkled with the typical foliage of the Tuscan landscape.

The holiday villa consists of 8 bedrooms and bathrooms for the complete comfort of guests. There are 4 separate apartment units with no internal connection to ensure that a large group of family and friends can enjoy privacy and exclusivity on their vacation.

All apartments have cosy and characteristic living rooms centred around a fireplace and featuring SAT-TV. Identical kitchen utilities like a dishwasher, freezer, electric oven, toaster and drip coffee machine are available in each unit to prepare carefree homemade delicacies any time of the day. Furthermore, all bathrooms on the property are fitted with a shower, WC and bidet. A washing machine is also available in each apartment unit for added convenience and longer, hassle-free stays.

Sleeping and Bathrooms

Apartment 1 A lovely one-bedroom 40-square-metre apartment for 2 with a loft area connected to the living area. Sleeping: One double bedroom with direct access to the outside and a wardrobe. Bathroom: There is one bathroom in the apartment with a washing machine.

Apartment 2 The biggest apartment unit is over 90 square metres and accommodates up to 6 guests. Sleeping: 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom with a small balcony. Bathroom: There are 3 bathrooms in the apartment.

Apartment 3 A rustic and welcoming 60-square-metre holiday apartment for up to 5 guests. Sleeping: There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with 2 single beds on the first floor. A single sofa bed in the living room can also be used to sleep one guest in comfort. Bathroom: There are 2 bathrooms in the apartment.

Apartment 4 A cosy 50-square-metre holiday apartment for up to 4 guests. Sleeping: There is 1 double bedroom and 1 attic twin bedroom with an almond window. Bathroom: There are 2 bathrooms with a shower, WC and bidet

Please note: Access to the property is via 1.4 km of country road, the last of which is a 500 m dirt road unsuitable for sports cars.

Location

The holiday house is located on the edge of the forest in the peaceful hills of Montaione and is a full-fledged holiday destination in itself. Food shops, grocery and main stores, ideal for a self-catering stay, are in Montaione, a 10-minute drive away. It is just an hour’s drive from the buzzing city of Pisa, where the Leaning Tower of Pisa attracts tons and tons of tourists every year. Food shops, ideal for a facilitated self-catered stay, are a 5-minute drive from here; meanwhile, other kinds of shops in Montaione are a 10-minute drive away.

Guests can head to Terme Casciana, located at a 45-minute drive and well-known since the Etruscan times, to further their relaxation in the countryside. They can also visit the sandy coastline at Marina di Pisa, located a 1-hour drive and enjoy a whole day out at the beach. For longer day trips, within 0.5 - 1.15 hours, guests can explore and discover some of the best-known destinations of western Tuscany, including Lucca and its impressive town walls, the imposing towers of San Gimignano and the cultural gems of the Tuscan capital, Florence.
