The other balcony is at the rear of the apartment and includes a shower, which is very useful after a day on the sandy beach.

Double glass doors lead inside to the large, open-plan living area, furnished with a sofa, flat-screen TV, dining table and chairs. The corner kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. Glass doors open out onto the back balcony.

Bedroom 1: The airy master bedroom has a double bed, a large wardrobe and French windows which lead out to the balcony. Bedroom 2: The 2nd bedroom is more suitable for a family and furnished with a double bed, bunk beds and a wardrobe. This bedroom also enjoys access to the balcony Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed.

Location

The apartment is a 1-minute walk from Torre Lapillo Beach, which is known for its soft sand and crystal-clear waters. The beach’s gentle slope makes it ideal for children and elderly visitors. At 4km long, it is one of the most beautiful beaches in the region. The town behind the beach has everything holidaymakers might need during their stay. There are supermarkets, smaller food shops and a wide range of restaurants and pizzerias all within a 5-minute walk from the apartment.

The neighbouring resort of Porto Cesareo (8 minutes) also has beautiful beaches and lively nightlife. The town’s weekly market (Thursday) is the best place to find the finest local food, including olive oil and a variety of cheeses.

Further down the Ionian coast, the historic town of Gallipoli (35 minutes) is a very popular tourist destination during the summer months. In Greek, Gallipoli means “beautiful city”, and the town does not disappoint. The town’s ancient walls soar over the harbour and fishing port. There is a daily fish market where, if you go early, you can pick up the freshest catch of the day.
