Location Loiri Porto San Paolo is a popular resort, known for its pristine white sand and turquoise sea. There are many activities available on the beach including kayaking, snorkeling and canoeing.

The island of Tavolara is well worth a day trip for hiking, swimming and lunch at the famous Da Tonino restaurant, run by the island’s current king. There is a regular boat service to the island from Porto San Paolo.

For visitors who are interested in the local cuisine, Olbia hosts farmers’ markets 3 days a week, the best being the Saturday market in Via Sangallo (25 minutes). Here you will find a wide range of fresh produce and island specialities.
