Villa Pruno

This former barn, which has been restored and transformed into a cosy villa, has a large, private garden with terraces, a lawn and olive trees. Complete with an attractive swimming pool, it makes the perfect getaway for a family or friends.

The two-storey villa sleeps 4 people in comfort. The architecture effortlessly blends the traditional pale stone with contemporary touches. The open-plan living area covers the ground floor. Guests will find armchairs and sofas as well as a flat-screen TV. The dining table seats 6 people and is next to a beautifully appointed kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

Large glass doors open up from the living area to a shaded courtyard, furnished with a dining table for relaxed meals al fresco. The private swimming pool is bordered by wooden decking, complete with sun loungers and a shaded seating area where guests can relax after a refreshing swim.

Sleeping The 2 beautiful bedrooms, with unusual arched windows, are on the first floor. Each is furnished with a comfortable double bed and a wardrobe. Both have en suite bathrooms.

Location On the edge of the stunning Baroque town of Scicli in southern Sicily, close to beautiful beaches and historical sites, this villa is in an ideal position for guests to enjoy everything the region has to offer. Scicli has several excellent restaurants and cafés where visitors can soak up the atmosphere. For self-catering, Scicli’s weekly market takes place on Tuesday mornings in Via Saffi.

The villa is just 10 minutes from the coast. The medieval fishing village of Donnalucata is known for its wide, sandy beaches and sleepy atmosphere. It is home to several fine restaurants where you can sample the freshest local fish.

Catania’s International Airport is a 1 hour 35 minute drive from the villa.
