The Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005, Articles 52 et seq., implementing Directive 2011/83/EU) grants consumers who purchase remotely a 14-day right of withdrawal, exercisable without having to provide any reason.
So how does cancelling a booking work?
The cancellation and refund conditions for a booking are the specific ones indicated by the owner/manager of the accommodation at the time of booking (e.g. free cancellation up to a certain date, non-refundable cancellation, etc.), supplemented by what is set out in the general Terms and Conditions of the service. Please read the conditions shown on the accommodation's page carefully before confirming a booking.
To request a cancellation or get information about the conditions applicable to a booking already made, you can contact Dolidays at the details below: the request will be forwarded to the relevant owner/manager, who is responsible for handling it.
Other purchases on the site
For any purchases other than an accommodation booking (where available), made as a consumer and not falling within the exclusions of Article 59 of the Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal from the date the contract is concluded remains applicable, to be exercised by an explicit statement sent to the contact details below.
